Alevtina Chernikova

Rector of National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" in Moscow


In 1988, she graduated from the Economics Faculty of Voronezh State University having studied "Industry Planning."

In 1997, she was awarded a professional accountancy qualification – chief accountant, expert accountant, and consultant of the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia under the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

Doctor of Economics. Author of more than 60 scientific papers and publications.

From 1997 to 2012, she was Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor of "Economics and Management" at MISIS.

From 2004 to 2007, she was Deputy Director of MISIS regarding financial and economic activities.

In 2005, she was awarded the rank of "Associate Professor of Economics and Management", by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

From 2008 to 2012, she was the Director of the Stary Oskol Technological Institute, Branch of the State Technological University "Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys."

In 2010, she was awarded the academic title of professor.

In 2012, she was the First Vice-Rector of the "MISIS" National Research Technological University; and Acting Rector of "MISIS."
