“Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System”, Public Joint-Stock Company (“FGC UES”, PJSC) was established in 2002 in accordance with the Russian energy industry reform program to manage the Unified National (All-Russian) Electric Grid (UNEG) for the purpose of its preservation and development. Pursuant to Federal Law No. 35-FZ “On the Electric Power Industry” of March 26, 2003, “FGC UES”, PJSC is a natural monopoly in the matters of provision of services involving transmission of electric energy via the UNEG and is responsible for reliable power supply to consumers in the Russian Federation. “FGC UES”, PJSC is a national operator of the major part of the UNEG of Russia. The main responsibility of “FGC UES”, PJSC is to ensure power transmission from power-generating stations to the electric load centers, including the receiving facilities of distribution grid companies. Additionally, “FGC UES”, PJSC provides services involving power transmission between energy systems of Russia and neighboring countries. The area of responsibility of “FGC UES”, PJSC spans 138,800 km of high-voltage backbone power lines and 924 substations with a total installed capacity over 332,000 MVA. “FGC UES”, PJSC operates in 77 regions of Russia. The territory where the Company’s facilities are located is divided into zones, with one of its branches in charge of each - 8 backbone electric grids and their 41 regional companies. “FGC UES”, PJSC has 20 subsidiaries and affiliates that operate in various areas of business activity, mainly ensuring the functioning of the power grid facilities. “FGC UES”, PJSC has more than 400K shareholders. The largest shareholder is PJSC “Russian Grids,” which owns 80.13% of the Company’s authorized share capital. The Russian Federation represented by the Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo) owns 0.59% of the authorized share capital. In 2014, the number of employees of FGC UES exceeded 24K people. |

E.ON Russia JSC was registered on March 4, 2005 in Surgut. The authorized capital of the Company amounts to RUB 25,219,482,458.37, the par value of one share is RUB 0.4. Five heat power plants with the total capacity of 10,345 MW are included in E.ON Russia JSC: Surgutskaya GRES-2 (5,597 MW), Berezovskaya GRES (1,600 MW), Shaturskaya GRES (1,493 MW), Smolenskaya GRES (630 MW), and Yayvinskaya GRES (1,025 MW). Electric power generation in 2014 amounted to 59.238 billion kWh, heat power – 2,211.0 thousand Gcal. E.ON Russia JSC investment program provides for construction of new generating facilities for 2,400 MW. Commissioning of 4 steam and gas power-generating units with the aggregate capacity of 1,600 MW took place in 2010-2011 at Shaturskaya GRES, Surgutskaya GRES-2, and Yayvinskaya GRES. One more project of the investment program – construction of a coal-fired power-generating unit with the capacity of 800 MW of Berezovskaya GRES – is at the final implementation stage. |

Russian Federation JSC "Transneft" is a Russian state-owned transport monopoly, the largest oil pipeline transport company in the world. JSC "Transneft" operates trunk pipelines with total length over 70 thousand km, transporting about 90% of oil and 30% of petroleum products produced in Russia, in addition to considerable volumes of crude hydrocarbons from the CIS countries. JSC "Transneft" is the first major Russian company whose energy management has been certified for ISO 50001:2011. The company implements the energy efficiency program for the period up to 2020 and as the part of it the energy savings totaled 155 million kWh in the first half of 2015 and the combined saved value came to 20.2 tons of oil equivalent due to the energy-efficiency measures held over the specified period. The subsidiaries of JSC Transneft are regularly audited for compliance of the energy management systems to the international ISO standards. |
