Russian Energy Week to bring together over 400 representatives of big business

More than 400 business representatives from 185 major Russian and foreign companies that work in the fuel and energy sector plan to take part in the ‘Russian Energy Week’ International Forum. Two-thirds of the companies will be represented by their chief executives.

ryen uchastie biznesaOfficials who have confirmed they will take part in ‘Russian Energy Week’ include Rosseti CEO Pavel Livinsky; SIBUR Holding Chairman of the Board Dmitry Konov; Lukoil President, Member of the Board of Directors, and CEO Vagit Alekperov; Gazprom Neft Chairman of the Management Board and CEO Alexander Dyukov; Sberbank Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO Herman Gref; FGC UES CEO Andrey Murov; Fortum Corporation President and CEO Pekka Lundmark; Eletrobras Eletronuclear President Bruno Barretto, and other prominent businessmen.

Russian Energy Week will be the largest industry event in Russia on energy issues at the international level. Preliminary reports indicate it will be attended by representatives of more than 80 countries, including Austria, Belgium, China, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Zimbabwe.

The key goal of the event is to discuss the current global energy agenda, determine the main focuses for the development of the fuel and energy sector, and find optimal solutions to respond to existing challenges.

The ‘Russian Energy Week’ Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum (REW) will take place at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow on 3–7 October 2017. The forum will be attended by the heads of energy companies, leading global experts, and media representatives. The main goal of the event is to discuss the current global energy agenda, identify the main areas for the development of the fuel and energy industry, and search for optimal solutions to respond to existing challenges.
