Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation

Biography

Born on March 16, 1976 in Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky in the Chita region, in the railroad worker family.

In 1998, he graduated from the Far Eastern State Transport University, having studied "the Organization and Management of rail transport."

From 1998 to 2002 he held senior positions at railway transport enterprises. He was the head of the marketing department and head of contractual work of the traffic centre for the corporate transport service, in the administration of the Far Eastern Railway.

From 2002 to 2004, he was general manager of the Dalneftetrans LLC in Khabarovsk.

From 2004 to 2006, he was the General Director of the Far Eastern Transport Group JSC, in Khabarovsk.

From 2006 to 2009, he served as Deputy Director of the Department of State Policies of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in the field of railway transport.

From 2009 to 2011, he was Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Infrastructure of the Government of the Russian Federation.

From December 2011 to June 2012, he was head of the Federal Railway Transport Agency (Roszheldor).

On June 13, 2012, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.

He is married, with three children.
